the plot seems to me rather silly
and i like Naveen Andrew's character named Sayid
This show didn't become popular in Russia as in US.
My bro Toki said that he didn't see it in Japan.
On one of main russian channels
there were shown just several seasons,
but in rather strange manner.
The interval of broadcasting between seasons approached a year or even more,
and everytime new season was promised to be shown
the channel started from the very beginning
that from my point of view pissed russian audience off
So to save my nervous system from endless
and annoying repeating
i watched most of series in English,
and for sure downloaded them in russian torrents)
