Nowadays you can find lots of sites
dedicated to the topic of street fashion

by chance I found a very interesting blog
named "Advanced Style"

it's much spoken about the notion style
I do believe that style is a base you can't obtain,
but a base that can be improved

my belief is confirmed by the slogan
of the "Advanced Style" blog:
"proof from the wizened and silver-haired set
that personal style advances with age"

you can look stylish
if you follow advice of some magazine, shop assistants, or friends
or if you just keep following the only one mode of dress
that can even suit you perfectly

the presence of real style makes you more risque
and self-sure in your undertakings
and experiments with fashion

Ja'bagh Kaghado

is a photographer,
who has his own views
over the process of shooting
and has his own style

Born across the Hudson in NJ,
he arrived in Moscow 6 years ago after attending
the Fashion Institute of Technology / NYC
and became the catalyst for young photographers
where at the age of 22 he began shooting
for the major glossy magazines and commercial campaigns in Moscow.

Не contributed to Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar,
Fashion Collection, Cosmopolitan, Afisha, Afisha MIR, OM, NRG,
Rolling Stone, Men's Health, Men's Fitness, Domovoi, Moulin Rouge,
PLUS, BEAST, Ebyan, Amaan, V magazine, and Tatler.

In 2007 he was commissioned by icon pen and
fashion accessory designer "Mont Blanc" to create unique images
of his own vision of "Mont Blanc" for its 100 year anniversary titled "Soul Makers".

Getting tired and bored of the celebrity scene,
he shifted his focus and returned to his roots – street culture,
music and the night.

Ja’bagh considered one of the most influential photographers in Moscow,
this decade he also launched his directing career, directing TV commercials,
social messages, and music videos.

Science & Art

Physiology, Electricity & Photography
were 3 main interests of Guillaume-Benjamin-Amand
Duchenne de Boulogne or simply Duchenne de Boulogne,
a French neurologist, author of the work
"The Mechanism of Human Physiognomy"
(
Mecanisme de la Physionomie Humaine, 1862),
one of the developers of electro-physiology and electro-therapeutics.

He took pictures of his patients
In contrast to photos of that period (second half of the 19th century)
he managed to show "genuine" expressions.

"Duchenne de Bologne's experiments can be described as the realization
par excellence of the close connection between photographic
and electrophysiological discourse during the second half of the 19th century.
Duchenne was able to produce facial expressions by changing
the currents that he induced in the experimental object.

He could create emotional expressions by evoking two
or more facial expressions at the same time
which usually corresponded to different emotions
and thereby produced disconcerting photographic portraits of
incomprehensible mimicked expressions"

Portuguese for beginners^^

Foi numa tarde de domingo
Que alguém perguntando por ela chegou
Deixando o meu coração tristonho,
Enciumado, morrendo de amor

Eu falei, eu menti, eu chorei, eu sorri dizendo
Eu falei, eu menti, eu chorei, eu sorri dizendo

Que ela mora no meu peito
E eu moro vizinho a ela
E eu fico desse jeito
Pensando nos beijos, nos carinhos dela

Carolina, Carol, Carol, Carolina bela
Carolina, Carol, Carol, Carolina bela

i do my best to repeat after Rosalia
but the result still leaves much to be desired)
